Finding unique home furnishings and accessories at Potato Barn

My second week in Arizona. Now that the birthday parties are over I can dedicate some of my time to do some more exploring. We are making some plans to go hiking and visit exciting places. We’ll see what my son, Alexander has prepared for us.

When I visit Mesa AZ., one of my first destinations is Potato Barn. It’s a fun and exciting place to visit. Although the store is not new to me, I discovered the recently introduced the Magnolia Pearl Clothing line to the store.

I love the relaxed and casual look of the Magnolia Pearl vintage inspired clothing. The custom made fabrics are excellent quality.

The prices might be considered high for some, (but for me as an artist, knowing how much time it takes from the design point of view to the finished piece); the money you pay is very well spent. I fell in love with several shirts that are on my shopping list for next time.

Potato Barn also carries several lines of furniture. John Michael sectionals and sofas, New Dimensions upholstery out of California, and Paul Robert’s designs, to name a few.

I talked to my new friend Nikki Woodard, the store manager at the Mesa Gateway location who was very helpful and answered all my questions. She told me they play live music every third Thursday of the month as a customer appreciation from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. I was sad I wouldn’t be there for this fun event.

These vinyl mats from Spicher and Company would be great on a covered patio!
