Thank you to those who supported me in this exciting journey. For me, the competition ended as a semi-finalist. The finalists were a talented group, and I was happy to see that three of the four were women! The winner will be announced on May 13th and I will post an update here.

I use all my senses when I am working on a piece. Because I apply texture, fabric, thread and natural elements to my canvas, I never know how a painting is going to look. I let the texture on the canvas speak to me.
